NAKED: Art Exhibit
New female figurative work by Jeanet Ingalls and Anki King

Meet the Artists for an informal Q&A: Friday, January 7th, 2011 6 PM

At the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts

Exhibit ends Saturday, January 8th, 2011

GALLERY HOURS: Wednesdays – Saturdays 12 PM to 5 PM

LOCATION: Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Avenue, Pittsfield, MA

If you have questions about the new female figurative work by Jeanet Ingalls and Anki King, or just are curious about the process an artist goes through, now you have a chance to meet the artists, listen to what they have to say and ask any question. Each artist will do a brief introduction of themselves and their work and then the floor is open for questions and conversation.

Come Meet the Artists is for you if:
  • You've seen the exhibit and wondered to yourself, "Why all the nakedness?" or "Why only naked women?" but were too embarrassed to ask
  • Were interested and wanted to learn more about the exhibit
  • After the holidays you find you have a new appreciation for art, then welcome in the New Year with us
  • Hadn't had a chance to see the exhibit and wanted to come while the artists themselves could answer your questions
Inherent in the paintings are all the emotions, psychology and states of being we read into the word itself: NAKED... self conscious, exposed, sexual, humbled, fearful, hopeful, revealed, provocative, assertive, ashamed, feminine, masculine, androgynous, caught, terrified, depressed, dangerous, yearning, empty, and alone...

NAKED exhibit ends this Saturday, January 8th, 2011, if you haven't seen it yet, or want to see it again, don't wait - come in this week to see it before it's gone and too late.
