This Sunday, October 3, the young leadership division of the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will hold a community literacy event, from 3pm - 5pm at Chapters Bookstore, 78 North Street, in Pittsfield.Storyteller Heather Heim will recount the magical tale “Living in a Fragile World” and children can make a book related craft. Attendees are encourage to bring gently used children’s books, classics or pop fiction to swap. Participants will receive a 15% discount on all new books purchased during the event.
The event is free and suitable for young families. Refreshments will be served.
